September 19th workshop

This months workshop was great! We had a wonderful stamper all the way from England. It was a real treat to have met her. I hope she comes back soon for another visit.
Here are the projects we made for this month.

Card holding candy. We used the new Sweet Treat cups and the Sweet Centers stamp set from the new Holiday Mini. The square on the front has a hinge so it can be untied then opened without having to rip apart the card. Colors used are Old Olive, Orchid Opulence and Rich Razzleberry.

This project is a small fall picture book. For the front we used the Autumn Splendor stamp set from the Holiday Mini. The colors are Dusty Durango, Soft Suede, very Vanilla and Garden Green. We stamped the very vanilla with the Autumn Splendor stamps then turned the card stock over and made 1 inch lines going vertically and horizontally to make 9 small squares. Cut those squares out and then embossed them with clear embossing powder. We had also numbered the squares making it much easier to know which one goes where.

Here we did some water coloring with markers. We stamped the Autumn Harvest stamps with stazon then colored the inside of the images with a light color, outlined the image with a slightly darker color and finally we took a blender pen to blend the light and dark color together to soften the marker lines. The other technique we used was masking.

The final card we made was this Thinking of you card. It was created by using the Elegant Eggplant ink and card stock with the Kind & Caring thoughts stamp set.

If you have any questions on how these were created please feel free to email me and I can help you to recreate these yourself.
